Child Abduction

International child abduction can not only have remedies in criminal law but also in civil law through the family courts.

If you suspect that your child is at risk of being abducted, you may need to take emergency preventative measures such as obtaining a "port alert" through the police or a Court Order known as a "Prohibited Steps Order".

Alternatively, you may need to take urgent steps to locate a child and/or seek the return of a child to or from the jurisdiction of England & Wales.
