Tazeen has been with Shepherd, Harris & Co since 1990 when she started her training contract, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1992. She has a wealth of experience in both Family Law and Civil Litigation matters and is known for her pragmatic and constructive approach to disputes. Her spirit, determination and commitment to clients is reflected in her success rate.

Tazeen’s family law practice covers a number of areas ranging from the drawing up of pre-nuptial agreements to advising on separation to defended and undefended divorces. She represents clients on ancillary relief matters covering the full spectrum from low income to high net worth cases with international and trusts aspects. Tazeen also advises and acts in cohabitant and civil partnership disputes.

In addition, Tazeen has specialist accreditations in Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse and regularly represents clients on emergency and non-emergency applications in those areas.

As a member of Reunite, she has special expertise in Child Abduction law and has acted for clients in abductions to and from a number of Hague and Non-Hague Convention countries including USA, Australia, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Italy, Algeria, Germany, Turkey, Pakistan, Jamaica, Botswana, Ukraine and South Africa.

Tazeen heads our Litigation Department. She has a special interest in Inheritance Act and Contested Probate actions. Tazeen has many years of experience in these areas in addition to Breach of Trust, Professional Negligence and Personal Injury actions. She regularly advises and acts in Consumer Disputes and a wide variety of Contract Disputes.
